(Central Islip, NY) May 13, 2015- Today, Wednesday, May 13 at 11 a.m. at the LaGuardia Airport Marriott Hotel at 102-05 Ditmars Boulevard in East Elmhurst, New York, Maltz Auctions, a premier full-service auction company, brought fourteen properties to auction from throughout the New York metropolitan area. The properties, including a luxury home, a two-family home, multiple apartments, a potential redevelopment site, a handyman special and more, brought in more than $7.5 million in under an hour of active bidding by a multitude of attendees that filled the room to capacity.
Sold individually, the properties were located in The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk.
“These multi-property auctions attract such a wide range of buyers from across the tristate area and beyond. It’s an incredibly exciting environment to both sell and purchase real estate,” said Richard Maltz, president of Maltz Auctions. “We encourage and welcome brokers to join us in June at our next multi-property event to experience an auction for themselves, so that they can share this option with their clients.”
These are just some of the many properties – including luxury and commercial, distressed and non-distressed real estate – auctioned by Maltz Auctions recently. In addition to real estate, Maltz Auctions specializes in personal and intellectual property auctions. The company also offers expertise in liquidations and appraisals.
“We help owners who seek to establish liquidity from illiquid assets,” said David Maltz, the company’s CEO. “In addition, through our services, bidders are able to attain real estate, automobiles, jewelry as well as heavy equipment through a fair and transparent bidding process.”
